31 cm high and 22 cm wide and 17 cm deep – Unique one off piece in steam punk style
Made from repurposed materials, this device is intended as an automated oracle.
The armatures, when moved by the crank handle, create various arrangements and relationships that can be understood to represent in microcosm the macrocosmic state of the universe at any moment in time. As such it is a unification of science and mysticism, intuition and logic. Its form echoes that of the planetarium or orary, traditional mechanical models of the solar system.
Watermarks and website mentions in the pictures here on this website are not visible on the original art. Paintings come framed (unless otherwise mentioned) and are shipped in a made to measure wooden box for secure and safe transport.
